Venue & cruise information

The 11th Colloquium on Baltic Sea Marine Geology is held on m/s Silja Serenade. During the meeting she will sail on route Helsinki-Stockholm-Helsinki enabling the delegates to enjoy the beautiful scenery of both Finnish and Swedish archipelagos. The cruise departs and returns to the Helsinki Southern Harbor (Olympia Terminal).

All cruise arrangements are made by the local organizing committee. All you need to do is to register for the conference and pay the registration fee (see Registration page).

Registration fee covers:

  • Cruise fare
  • Accommodation in single cabin (Promenade class)
  • 2 x breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee

If you need accommodation in Helsinki before or after the cruise, please make your own hotel reservations. The Southern Harbor is located in the Helsinki city center and there are many hotels within walking distance, like hotels Fabian, Rivoli Jardin, Scandic Grand Marina and Scandic Marski among others.
