Handheld spectroscopy

Description:

  • The work package consists of Spectral Mineral Mapping and Regional Alteration Synthesis by using two portable handheld spectrometers for the GTK’s existing sample library (e.g. rock chips, powder) and combining mineral data into existing multi-elements geochemistry of the samples.
  • The work package will use in-situ lab sample measurement without any fieldwork. Samples are selected from the Central Lapland area.
